Here’s my story:
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and attended Fisk University, initially drawn to the radio station. But fear held me back from pursuing a career in radio or music—I’d been told to choose a “secure” path. That mindset led me to endure difficult, even abusive, jobs because I didn’t know my worth or believe in my purpose.
After 10 years of figuring it out post-Fisk, I decided to take a bold step toward my future. I enrolled at Loyola Universityand earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, which became the foundation for the life and career I have today.
Everything changed when I was laid off and searching for answers. One sleepless night, I stumbled upon Wayne Dyer’s PBS special, The Power of Intention. It shifted my mindset and set me on a new path.
Today, I’m the founder of Ashé Counseling & Coaching LLC, a thriving 7-figure private practice headquartered in Chicago with locations in Texas and Louisiana. I’m living proof that stepping into your purpose and breaking free from limiting beliefs can transform your life—and I’m here to help you do the same
